the river Avon inland

We've just been for a walk on this dark february day, along the river Avon inland as it moves away from Bristol city centre and starts snaking towards Bath. This part of the river used to be heavily industrial in times past which is why the quays are there, but the industry is all gone now and modern housing developments have been built along the riverside instead.
