Mini sweet pea

Earlier in the year I was given some seeds which I was told were mini sweet peas. Today the first flowers opened. Turns out they are Lathyrus sativus - grown in Asia and other parts of the world as a crop which is considered both a saviour and a destroyer - read about it here. 

Today I also did my biggest walk for three months - 6.47 miles and 1,268' of ascent!
