Another day where the weather defeated the forecast; the thunder and rainfall experienced elsewhere has yet to arrive in this patch of West Yorkshire, and in spells it was another hot and sunny afternoon.

I walked down to Tong Park to see if the Ringlets were out yet, and I did find one (extra), trusting my instincts when I spied it among the more numerous Meadow Brown and following it to confirm. Soon after I came across this male Common Blue and as I don't see them so often I thought I'd offer it to partner Sunday's female.
