Replanted

Our neighbour’s new fence is very ‘obvious’ and the wood will mellow with time but the concrete post won’t. We had removed two pyracantha bushes which were near by, to give M room to work on the new fence. Today we replanted one of the bushes with fingers crossed that it will hide the post in time!!! 

I had expected the soil to be well watered after the torrential rain yesterday, but I think that it just ran off into the nearby drain!!! 

Having had a good start and a willing B prepared to do more we did some ‘heavy’ pruning. I then continued with the lighter work until it got too hot for any more.

11pm     out to check for hedgehogs as I’ve not seen one for a couple of weeks and there was one in the box chomping on the biscuits. (in extras)
