Cucumbers

The porch cucumbers are happy and doing well. Flowers are starting to form. The garden is full of butterflies they seem to be constantly flying around a tree in the garden till dusk - quite surreal.

I picked a load of gooseberries today - the bush has never been so full. It’s about 20 times the usual crop!

A problem that I was worried about tackling seems to be being handled well.

I’ve contacted an ex-boss today to ask her for a favour and she was happy to oblige which was a huge relief. Good to hear she is in good spirits despite lockdown.

My garden looks the most over-grown ever after the ‘drought’ and now the ‘monsoon’ season- I’m filled with dread at the thought of tackling it!
