Simple Pleasure

In between rain showers, I wandered over to the little pond by the churchyard, thinking I might see some dragonflies. I did, but they didn't stop long enough to take any photos, but I was struck by these tiny little flowers on impossibly long single stems, rising up from the edges of the murky water.
