A Grand Walk!

Well, as a special birthday treat I persuaded myself to go for a walk this morning. A walk? Not a big deal?! This was my first time outside for a walk since the beginning of March because I’m shielding at the moment because of COVID-19. I’m hoping that tomorrow our First Minister will say it’s ok for me to make it a daily routine and not just a treat!!
It’s hard to explain the mixture of feelings I went through this morning, from trepidation to complete joy as I got to go and see the cygnets at our local park for the first time! As I’ve said to a few people today ‘simple pleasures’. A simple walk was the highlight of a wonderful birthday and I can’t wait to do it again tomorrow and many days to
come!!
