Heron

We really have got into the habit of sleeping late on  Saturday.  We are not missing all those years of getting up early to get BB to football or rugby. It will be a shock when that all starts again.  Anyway it was a  grey and wet day, so nothing to get up for.  I finished my book and then attacked some housework.  TT decided he needed some things from the supermarket for tea, so we both headed out and did a complete river walk loop.  The first time since before lockdown.  I guessed it would be quiet as no one would really want to head out into the gloom.  I had to leave TT at the supermarket, and headed home to more housework.

Once TT was home, we had delicious bagels for lunch which had been delivered with our bread order.  My housework continued, then TT thought it was brightening up so suggested we should go for a walk.  We didn’t go far, just round by the farm.  As we were a bit higher up – the gloom was  even  thicker.  So much for it brightening up!

TT made chicken parmentier for tea and then we watched some more of The missing.
