Marbled White Butterfly

We drove down to Portland Bill as it was such a beautiful day - we didn’t have any of the  rain or thunder forecast . We picnicked on the rocks then walked . There were lots of marbled- white butterflies- rare apart from in the South so a real treat . They also stay still long enough to photograph them as they feed on the knapweed .
