Sculpture

After almost fourteen weeks I got to see my dear mum today. She's in a care home and they've now opened for limited visits. It was socially distanced with her being indoors, with a carer, and me being just outside of the open patio door. It was so good to see her. If everything stays the same, the visits will continue on a weekly basis.
Her home has erected this stone outside the front entrance which gives thanks to the whole team for their dedication during the COVID 19 pandemic. There will be a time capsule buried there containing a  variety of objects relating to the stages of the pandemic. I thought it was a great idea.
