I was quite right. Thank you so much for all the kind vibes and best wishes that came whizzing down under, even without the comments on! They're back on now but as I already knew, blippers are the best.

We moved here yesterday. A bit of a cock up really for we booked this place four weeks ago when things were not good but as it turns out, it was unnecessary, and now we've paid a month up front so are in a bit of a quandary as to whether to stay. There are pros and cons.

One of the pros is the setting! Pretty dramatic and just 5 minutes to The Grove Scenic reserve - enjoy a ramble. It is an amazing mix of massive gnarly rocks, massive ratas (trees) and massive drippy ferns, with a very prehistoric feel. We took a wander around in the rain today and Himself has already had the paints out. And I came across an extraordinary (massive) fungus - anyone any ideas what it is?
I also heard my first morepork last night - take a listen.
