Cold Winter’s Day

.... and Missy was determined to spend most of it in front of the fire!
There’s some heavy snowfalls inland but not here yet. It’s been a very cold & wet day though.

Another new Covid-19 case today, but one caught at the border, where it should be.

There’s been a strong disappointed & dismayed reaction in NZ to the 2 positive Covid-19 tests returned to 2 women yesterday. However, it did show up weaknesses in our border controls and hopefully those systems are now sorted. The Assistant Defence Chief has taken it over!
Alll the contacts are now being traced.

Also, there’s no evidence of community transmission. Thankfully!
