Bee orchid

I was thrilled to spot this solitary spike on a local roadside verge, having stopped to look at something else! I’ve not seen a bee orchid for years. I had been thinking for a week or two that I’d love to, so just try and work out where to go and see them, since I know they exist around here. And I am also around here in the right season for a change.
