Abstract Thursday: Blur

Ingeborg's AT challenge theme this week is "blur". This shows some articles on a shelf in our pantry, photographed through a distorting glass panel in the door from our kitchen. I twiddled the zoom and focus rings until I got the effect I wanted, straight out of camera (I've tweaked the vibrance and added a bit of dehaze in Lightroom, but otherwise it's not fartnarkled).

I used a similar technique for my 2nd April blip this year, with different camera settings (and also some duplicating in Photoshop) - it's interesting to see how different the effects are although the subject is more or less the same: I guess the main difference comes from where I focussed.
