Sunset

More socialising this afternoon. We were invited by neighbours for afternoon coffee and a sit on their garden, and Lottie was invited too!

Although the haar had been threatening to come in all day, it was red hot in their garden! So much so that we gathered up our chairs, the table, rugs, tea tray, and recamped in the shade, only to hurriedly put on our jackets and cardies as the sun disappeared! 

It was lovely to wander round their garden, admire the flowers and planting, and sit and chat and catch up on each others news. Lottie searched out their unwanted rabbits but didn't catch any! 

Mike drove home, while Lottie and I walked back along the beach. I found a monkfish on the seaweed, only about the same size as my hand. It was gaping, but didn't look very alive. I think it must have been dropped by a bird. I put it back into the sea, but I wouldn't give much for it chances.
