Day 87 – South Queensferry
We cycled to South Queensferry via Dalmeny Estate to take some more photographs for the orienteering club’s website. The weather was quite nice and the scenery good; we had lunch on the beach looking at the gentle waves, really rather pleasant. South Queensferry was quite busy; I guess people were visiting friends. Or is that a bit cynical of me. The blip is of a narrow street leading down to the harbour; it looked nice in the sunshine. And why is the official name now Queensferry? Nobody knows it as that.
In other news the Scotland is going into phase 2, which in practical terms means nothing different for hillwalking, but does allow us to meet other groups in their gardens, and use their toilets. We may go and visit people if they’ll have us.
Best large.
