A Sunday Stroll

Sunday-so it is Church, lunch and then since it is a fine day a stroll through Pollok Park. Although it is only the beginning of February there is a surprising amount of colour in the gardens and grounds.

Blue and white crocuses are just showing themselves and I was pleasantly surprised by how colourful the humble cabbage plant could be.

But it was this display under the terrace that took my fancy - you would almost think it was summer and what a knowing smile the carved face has.

Then it was on to the old stables where Baron, one of the heavy horses, was keen to be clapped by any passing visitor.
