The Glen

Mr isbi wanted to play tennis this morning so I took the opportunity to go shopping. 
It seemed to take ages, especially when I got caught in three extended conversations, one with someone I hadn't met before. Maybe isolation is getting to people.

On the way up I hoped to get some pics of the sun rays through the trees but they weren't doing much this morning.
This piece of road is known as "The Glen". It extends for several kilometres as you descend from Blackheath into the Megalong Valley. It passes through a quite unique and very beautiful area of rainforest with lots of twists and turns. 
It is also where our engine blew up a couple of weeks ago.

We were glad to get back to the farm. It was 10C inside the house up there. It's 14C outside here.
