Branfill Road

This is actually Station Road, but Branfill Road is behind me. There is also a Branfil School (only one L). Andrew Branfill was a slave trader who bought Upminster Hall in the 17th c. He was apparently the slave trader that other slave traders chose to deal with their most difficult slaves. A local student has called for the names to be changed, and the council says it will consider this if there is enough interest.
