Leek flower

I've kept the funnily shaped leek flower pods from three weeks ago and to my utter surprise saw the shapes of the flowers inside the pod through the outer skin. Had to capture that ! For Flower Friday with thanks as always to Anni/BikerBear for hosting :-)

I don't dare to cheer yet, but today saw the couple getting another few steps further in a possible registry wedding within a month. There are still some obstacles, Fumiko needs to get her visit pass to Singapore extended, as it ends on July 1st but as they have registered their intention to marry and are getting a confirmation from the Registry of Marriages with a date in July hopefully the Immigration  people will grant her the extension. Here's hoping they can have all the needed documents for the wedding sorted. Fingers crossed ! But so glad that finally there are some cooperative civil servants, and that for two 'foreigners'.
