Send For Miss Marple

On my last visit I saw two adult Canada geese & 6 goslings.They too were overcome with heat . Today it was cloudy , cooler ,ideal &  one could see it would rain :) Lots of birds ,few people, perfect.  Then came the geese .I've a feeling, gosling theft has taken place since  the 6 are 3 greylag  & 3 canada goose. .Bill, leg colour, eye very different , not to mention a pair of Greylag who try to come near, get chased off...Geese are known to steal other goslings or adopt when necessary. I've a film which shows more & one hears a distraught Greylag parent .Deliberate felony or well intentioned fostering .? Only time will tell for sure .
