Variety..

is one of the best things about this area, from the stark wilderness of upland moor in the main pic to the lusher but equally wildness of the pasture of the lowland in the extra. Both are accessible to the walker within the same day. I also visited a woodland and found the beautiful Twinflowers in bloom. On the moor saw the Osprey and heard Skylarks. In the pasture, found Marsh Cinquefoil and Small Heath butterflies.
Such wonderful weather too!
Also, paid respects to a neighbour as Spud the Piper led the cortege through town to the cemetery. A good day, Johnny.
