Bug Hunt

I’ve discovered that one of my boys is fascinated with insects so I got him a magnifying glass and Petri dish out of the science cupboard and a book about insects so that he could identify them. He was absolutely thrilled and spent the afternoon bug hunting, studying his finds and talking about what he was doing. It was a major break through as he finds it hard to engage normally. It was great to see him so excited and animated.
