Almond by Cramond.....

.....as I flew into Edinburgh yesterday I noticed Cramond Island and it occurred to me that I'd never walked across in 17 years of living in Edinburgh. So, today we remedied that. The 20mph wind made for a chilly crossing, but once on the island, the leeward location of most of the ruins made exploring more comfortable. We stopped for a Geocache before heading back to the mainland for a coffee and ice-cream.

Owen and Nancy made lentil curry for tea; nae bad.
