Local gem!

I have to admit to being a bit of a Ruby Mild connoisseur, dating back to the Derby Beer Festival in 1994 when I first had the Sarah Hughes Dark Ruby Mild....  I think I have found my new favourite.. The Roughacre  Red is superb... a treacley chocolatey taste  to me, and a bit of a black fruit too. Think it would be great to steep dried fruits in for a Christmas cake.  
It was delivered in a taster box today from a local microbrewery in Castle Camps
