Drying ground

Spotted this stone at the end of our moor walk - I think it’s usually behind a parked car as I’ve not noticed it before. One of our friends is involved with this charity which dates back to earlier times in the village.
We were lucky with the weather for our walk and missed the rain, the cuckoo was still calling on the moor and led us astray, we ended up in the wrong direction!!
