Flower friday
Long day leaving when the clearance van arrived at 7.15, van registration was J17UNK - made me smile.. came back to Plymouth via friends in Bishops Castle and this pale pink cornflower was in their new wild flower border, picture in extra. They have created a small pool and have a frog or two and pond skaters also in the extras. The pond requires maintenance such as removing the pond weed which looks really gloopy. Had a delicious lunch, suitably socially distanced with no hugs, so I hugged a tree in their garden! There was a red kite flying over the house and soaring on the breeze, sadly no picture! Left them and then drove onwards down via the wye valley to Gordano services to meet with my godson and his wife standing outside and suitably distanced, and then drove onwards to Plymouth through four torrential downpours! Very happy to be back home by the sea and to see my beautiful rose now blooming! Now have a weekend moving rubbish to the tip and making room for the new additions from mums house!, stay well all! Virtual hugs!
