Danger on the web!

Check out this bad girl!

Her web was across a track we walked today, just above head high for the folks ( way above my head!). The Sparrow recons it’s an Orb-Weaver Spider. Females are up to ten times the size of males.

Guess she catches birds, possums and other stuff up there! Scary!

I missed her completely, I was too busy sniffing out animal tracks at ground level.

Horror thought - what if it’s a male!
