A River of Cloud

Having left Wanaka under a miserable inversion layer we have just returned from a fabulous day snow shoeing at the Snow Farm, ‘we’ including Acyclinggranny and C and M.  The sun was shining, no wind and we got really hot even though the temperature wasn’t much, if anything, above zero!  The snow cover was a bit sparse in places but that didn’t detract from the enjoyment of the day. The blip (plus two extras) were taken on the way down the mountain.  We needed headlights when we got to the valley floor.  A cup of hot coffee in town finished the day nicely.
