Fly on ragwort

At the bottom of our meadow area.  I've no idea what type of fly, but it was quite large, and I rather admire its pointy tail.  Many people would say that we shouldn't encourage ragwort, but I'm hoping for more cinnabar moths.

It looked like rain on and off all day (though it never actually did rain), so I didn't tackle what is now quite a large pile of washing and regretted it in the evening.  I suffered with a diffuse lack of energy, and spent the afternoon sewing and listening to music.
