Potatoes planted

Daan's potatoes are in the ground!
We prepared a piece of 7.5 x 2m and put them in. Some heavy digging!!

For now that will be all. No more planting. Next fase will be the construction of the allotment. Pavement and a fence.

After that I think it'll be best if we order a few (well, a lot I guess) kubic meters of garden soil. An new layer will spare us a lot of digging and plowing. Daan doesn't know that yet, but I'm gathering information about how, where, when and what....

A quick calculation of a 20 cm layer of new soil, means 25 cubic meters, 25 big bags... wow..that's a lot.
