Lisianthus

This morning I watched an Olympus Live event about their twin flash. The flash looks very interesting but at £449 is a lot more than I want to pay. However I did learn one thing which made watching worthwhile and that was to put my camera in to manual focus when using the 60mm macro lens. My usual practice is to have the camera set to AF+MF which allows me to focus with AF and then tweak the focus manually with the lens. You would think the result would be the same but using manual mode to start with made it much easier for the lens to click into focus when I turned the ring. I also discovered a piece of equipment called a 'handy thing' would be really useful and is cheap but so far can't find one via google and so the day disappears.

Other than that I managed an hour's gardening.
