Your Wise Men Don't Know How It Feels
I went for a late afternoon walk, looking for bricks, but knew this was going to work just fine. Layne and I were playing cards after lunch and listening to guitar players on YouTube like David Gilmour and Robert Fripp. Then Jethro Tull came on and we reminisced about having seen them on opposite sides of America, in the early 70's, decades before we met.
We watched yesterday's news in the morning but multiple developing stories were each disheartening, on their own, so we tuned off.
And the sandcastle virtues are all swept away
In the tidal destruction the moral melee
~ Thick As A Brick, Ian Anderson

Matte Kudasai.
She sleeps in a chair
In her sad America.
~ Matte Kudasai, King Crimson
