Ladies in Waiting

Female bouquetins, probably still pregnant, sunning themselves and having a quiet time having sent last year’s youngsters in a gang to the other side of the col. They were having such fun, play fighting and prancing around (see extra). Boy am I tired tonight, it was a very big height gain to the summit of the Dent d’Oche. If you look into the blue background you can see right down to Lake Geneva, not a bad view!
