Goldfinch

I was hoping for a good sunset tonight but not to be, can't believe it is the Eve of the longest day and we had the lights on by 8.30pm.
So I had a walk round the garden looking for inspiration for my blip, took a few of the crop in the field next door, but then as I walked towards the pond I saw the Goldfinch perched on the reeds and luckily it let me get a quick shot. First time I have taken a picture of this beautiful bird without being the wrong side of a window.
