Poppy Field

Photo taken today in the Cotswolds and although there are a lot of poppy pictures at the moment I just couldn’t help myself so have blipped it.
It was the most magnificent sight to behold and I don’t mind admitting that I took a very sharp intake of breath.
Situated alongside the B4077 road running from Stow-on-the-Wold to Tewkesbury before you reach the village of Ford.
I have put the location on as it’s no secret where it is and there were lots of people there, all taking photos of course.
I think that the poppies would have been better last week before the recent thunderstorms and heavy rain.
