A Ballygally Poppy

We used to holiday in a house on the beach in Ballygally in Ireland when we were growing up. The garden was full of pinky purple poppies. My mum brought back some heads and we dried them and scattered them around our garden and they popped up everywhere.
I managed to pinch a poppy head from a walk a few years ago and scattered them in my garden. This one flowered today. I love it :)
