After a very misty and gloomy start to the day, it cleared up so Biker Chick and I went for a cycle down to East Lothian. I always let her pick the route because she knows the back roads so well. Until...’There’s a bit of a hill up here but I don’t remember it being too bad.’

LIES LIES LIES!

Halfway up, just before we ran out of all spare breath, we had a little chat about the definition of ‘not too bad.’ I think it went along the lines of ‘FFS!’

In the evening, we had a ‘not going to Palma’ Zoom meeting for Lovely Shuvely. We all wore summer dresses, hats and shades and clubbed together to send her tequila and inflatable palm trees and flamingos so it would feel just like she was on holiday. Which I’m sure it did because that’s exactly what Palma is like!
