Retro Bike

I must've been in seventh grade when I got this bike, a gold Murray 10-speed. I was pretty proud of it and put a lot of miles on it where I grew up in the countryside of NE Ohio. I had it refurbished not too long ago, which seemed to delight the young bike shop repair guys, and am trying to get back into using it. Third morning ride today. The trail was much busier, being Saturday, and it's getting very humid out, but still felt great.

Most years since we've lived here we've had a summer solstice party, with desserts and potluck dishes and sometimes a fire. Today we made some cupcakes which we'll deliver around to a few friends tomorrow. Happy Summer, everyone.
