For what it is worth

I blipped the cover of this book last year, after finding out that people were trying to sell it on Amazon Marketplace for more that £300! The original price was £24.95.

Well I finally got around to putting it on eBay and while it didn't reach those dizzy heights, I have just sold it for £112. I wanted to share my news but also marvel that any book, at least one from the modern era, could appreciate in value so fast. It was originally published in 2001. I just happen to have the other books in the series, but they're not quite as valuable........on average you can pick one up used for less than £5! Darn.
