Making the tackle

Finally a weekend of sport for the boy following cancellation after cancellation due to frost, snow, flooded pitches etc. Yesterday his football team had an 8-2 win in their cup quarter final...yay!

Today was not so successful on the rugby front with 1-0 and 2-0 losses in a triangular fixture. Ollie was on reasonable form though which was good to see as he had been a bit wary of tackling after a (minor) head injury a few weeks back.

So apart from freezing my fingers and toes off at rugby, supervising homework and cooking a roast it's been a pretty quiet day ;-) Currently ignoring the ironing in favour of sitting on my butt and sipping Cava in front of the TV.
