Looking across Nidderdale. Weekends are still a lot too busy for me at the moment so I waited until evening before venturing out.

I just had a drive around, going to Grassington, then through Appletreewick and up on to the Pateley Bridge road. The photo was take from my farthest point which was just across the road from the Coldstones Cut Quarry. I had hoped for a sunset but the sunlight fizzled out. The highlight of the drive was a murmuration of starlings but I couldn’t stop to take a photo.
