Hen

I took the kids home at lunch time. They were great to have, a few years makes all the difference to looking after them. Leo loved my peanut and chocolate slice and wanted it for breakfast (the answer was no), he loved playing the electric piano and made all sorts of interesting noises and loved “just being here”. Maddy is a delight anytime. Here is a picture of one of their hens. I like her colouring.

We had some overnight rain and more to come. There might be snow in the higher grounds over the next few days. Winter solstice today/ tonight so I guess it’s to be expected.
