Sunday walk.
Father’s Day started with a visit from our eldest son and family, with card and present.
As always lovely to see them, and have a chat.
Weather wasn’t to good. Cool and windy.
Didn’t stay too long as they had to visit DIL’s dad and get back home in time to watch the Leeds match on TV.
( won’t say any more about that!)
This afternoon MrC was watching football, so I went off on my own for a walk.
Seemed strange without him to talk to!
It was warm and mainly sunny but very windy.
Passed the cows and calves. One mum looked at me a bit warily. Glad they were at the other side of the fence.
The blackberries are now in full flower, and spotted this butterfly. It was finding it difficult to stay still as it was so windy.
Foxgloves looking beautiful at the moment.
Has turned into a nice evening, but still windy.
I think we may have a good week ahead with plenty of sunshine.
Very saddened by the stabbings in Reading.
Just so pointless.
Thoughts with the families.
