Dandelion and Buttercup

The time of the dandelion is past and now it is the turn of the buttercup.
We  took a walk with Rose today, following a path along the edge of the South Sound through a nature reserve. The thick woodland, (see extra), mostly deciduous trees, is very different from the forest we are usually out and about in when we walk or cycle.
The flowers were the usual ones but in much greater profusion.
