Daddy

Mine is far away sunning in the South of France so instead I popped in on this guy and his brood. Tonight his mistress seems to have departed so down to one mum with the four goslings looking awfully grown up. Still tame
Still happy
I wonder how long til they fly the nest.

In other news the weather was yuk. Packed up kids and said a tearful goodbye as I won’t see them for eight days. A wet drive through the Borders following the cycle route done by N yesterday. Impressive even in the dreicht, reservoirs and lochs I’d never known of but some of the hills best attempted by car! Vertigo!

Thankfully the weather became gorgeous again and a quick 8 mile walk before tea restored spirits alongside these little guys.
