Hardy souls or totally insane, take your pick, but the dingy racing off Largs Marina was an event to be watched.

I know that as children, growing up in all the weather Scotland could throw at us, very little could stop our activities. The sight of this brought home what a wimp I've become! The wind has been wild and the temperatures more adapt to a good book than swimming in the clyde. Swim many of these did, when their little boats keeled over as they attempted to turn around the buoys. The safety boats were very busy rushing between the capsized vessels.
