Empty

This corner of the living room seems very empty tonight when last night it was full of Bennetts.

A long lie was inevitable then I got up and did a spot of tidying before we went to see Carlos' mum. More cake and pressies followed then home again to more tidying and nibbling of leftovers. I always have enough to feed an army despite pre-event worries that there won't be enough to go round.

A quiet night with the kids watching a movie was the perfect end to a fab weekend. Poor Carlos has been struck down with some serious lurgy (no, not the hangover kind) so an early night is in order as it may be disturbed by a fair amount of coughing.
