Summer

JJ wanted to make a cake this morning so I had a very leisurely walk around the block.  Once upon a time I'd hardly meet anyone, but now it's almost hectic with mums, buggies and small children thrashing around in the wood.  There doesn't seem to be any awareness that birds may be raising second broods.

Caught up with close friends who told me we were going over to our other friends' on Wednesday afternoon, not today.  I am seriously unravelling mentally and need to get a grip.

The butterflies were playing ball yesterday, but not today, when I was looking for a decent Marbled White butterfly picture.  This one is very heavily cropped but suits the Mono Monday theme of Summer.
