Two lemon drizzle cakes

A varied day today. Firstly I put on some washing and then decided to make a lemon drizzle cake so I had to get the mixer out but that led to cleaning where it sits as it hasn't moved for over three years. A good clean of the box and the cookery books that sit on top then into the back where I found four large bottles. A bottle of champagne, a bottle of red wine and two bottles of sparkling perry. Goodness knows how long they have been in there. I made two small cakes and thanks to blipper Fourstory for the recipe.
I then went out to the garden and did some pruning of trees and lupins. After rain during the night it has been dry all day with a breeze which dried the washing nicely.
